Plenty of storage and RAM
The Aegis R2 does not disappoint when it comes to memory, as MSI has included 32GB of DDR5 RAM. Most games these days require only 16GB of RAM, so you’ll be more than fine with 32GB. You’ll also get a1TB SSD for storage, which should provide enough space for games, media, and other important data. Plus, with an SSD, you can expect fast boot and game load times.
Solid cooling system
A system with such powerful specifications can get hot during extended gaming or work sessions. This is why MSI has included four system cooling fans, with three on the front and one in the rear. These will pull in cool air and push heat out of the PC. There’s also an RGB air cooler placed on top of the CPU, thanks to which you won’t have to worry about running into any overheating issues.
Who is this MSI Aegis R2 gaming PC for?
If you’re after a gaming PC that can handle whatever you throw at it with ease at 1080p and 1440p, then the MSI Aegis R2 is worth considering. Both the RTX 5070 and Intel Core Ultra 9 285 are excellent components, and it can deliver solid performance in games. In fact, with the help of DLSS’s MFG, you can even run some games smoothly at 4K. The 32GB of DDR5 RAM should also be more than enough for most users, and you won’t have to worry about constantly deleting old data to make room for something new thanks to the 1TB SSD.
