This ABS Stratos II Ruby prebuilt PC is down to its lowest price in 30 days at Newegg, and now comes in at a pretty competitive $2,549.99. Now I’d say for the price, that’s not bad at all, especially given that this PC, while arguably not the flashiest, is all about gaming performance first and foremost. What you’ve got here is an RTX 5070 Ti, which is an outstanding GPU for QHD gaming, with solid 4K capabilities. That’s paired with a Ryzen 7 9800X3D, which is still one of the top CPUs for gaming, loads of DDR5 RAM, a large SSD, and an appropriate 240mm AIO cooler and 850W PSU. While this machine wouldn’t be my first pick for heavy multitasking and creative workloads, for those who enjoy playing a wide variety of games at different settings and want super smooth performance across the board, plus exclusive Blackwall features and a future-facing AM5 foundation, I’d say it’s a real winner.

What we like about this ABS Stratos II Ruby gaming PC

Powerful gaming CPU and GPU combo

The Ryzen 7 9800X3D packs a massive 96MB L3 cache and a 5.2GHz boost clock, which makes it a very strong pick for high FPS gaming with low latency. While the RTX 5070 Ti is a beast for QHD, primarily, if you did wish to use it for FHD, ultra-high FPS gaming in competitive titles, the 9800X3D is going to be brilliant.

Solid 4K capabilities

The RTX 5070 Ti is a quality card for 4K gaming, with 16GB of VRAM helping it handle high-resolution textures and more demanding games. Considering most RTX 5080 builds are around $3,000 nowadays, it’s a decent way to go from a price-to-performance perspective.

Loads of RAM and storage

You’ve got 32GB of DDR5 and a 2TB SSD here, which is very much in line with modern gaming requirements, and won’t leave you wanting more straight out of the gate.

Pretty robust cooling system

Sure, a 360mm AIO may give you more thermal headroom, but a 240mm AIO like the one in this build is more than appropriate for the Ryzen 7 9800X3D’s 120W TDP. What’s more, it’s in line with the primary use of this build, which is for gaming. If it were a higher core count CPU and the build was designed for heavy multitasking, rendering, and creative workloads, I’d say a 360mm would make sense.

Future facing platform gives you a clearer upgrade runway

It’s an AM5 build, which gives you more flexibility for upgrades in the future, unlike some other RTX 5070 Ti PCs built on LGA 1700, for instance. And with solid cooling and a beefy 850W PSU, it’s a strong foundation to build on, too.

Who is this deal for?

I’d say this is a great option for QHD and 4K gaming, but also for competitive FHD play. As mentioned, it’s not the flashiest PC on the market, but if you want to put most of your budget toward performance, it makes a lot of sense.
