This brilliant ASUS ROG Swift gaming monitor is 15% off on Amazon right now, and back at its record-low price of $934.00. Yes, that’s a pretty hefty price tag for a 27-inch 4K QD-OLED monitor, but this is one seriously high-end model that’s designed to be paired with top-tier gaming PCs and also doubles as a fantastic display for creative professionals, too.

Here’s a quick run-through of what this monitor brings to the table. The panel here is 4th-gen tandem QD-OLED, so you’re getting an OLED display with improved brightness, longer lifespan, wider color volume and gamut, and better handling of ambient lighting and clearer text. Not only is this going to showcase games with stunning contrast, but it’s also a real winner for creative editing work, productivity, and everyday usage. Gaming performance is S-tier, with a 240Hz refresh rate, FreeSync Premium Pro, and 0.03m response time. For high FPS 4K gaming and super smooth visuals, this is a powerful combination, to say the least. And finally, it features USB-C with 90W PD and a KVM switch, making it a very strong option for hybrid work/gaming setups, especially for those who may use a laptop for work and a PC for gaming.

What we like about this ASUS ROG Swift QD-OLED gaming monitor

Outstanding OLED display for gaming and creatives

It boasts a 1.5m:1 contrast ratio, incredibly high peak brightness, and 99% DCI-P3 color, making it a very strong choice for showcasing games at their best and most cinematic, but also excellent for making critical, color-sensitive edits in photos, film, and more.

Very strong gaming performance

240Hz and 4K resolution are designed pretty much with top-end RTX 5080 and 5090 gaming PCs in mind, and with FreeSync Premium Pro and a very low response time, you’re going to be getting super smooth gameplay even at very high FPS.

Premium quality of life features

USB-C with 90W PD is a game-changer if you want to use your laptop and have it connect for display and charging via a single cable to the monitor itself. Similarly, the KVM switch is ideal for hybrid setups, as it allows you to switch between devices without having to unplug your keyboard and mouse from the monitor.

Advanced burn-in protection

I’ve quacked on about this before, so to keep it brief, this monitor has physical heatsinks to control temperatures, but also packs advanced technology designed to anticipate potential burn-in threats and adjust its picture settings accordingly. It also has a wide range of features to extend its own lifespan, like pixel cleaning or automatic, sensor-based screen savers. All of this can be customized and adjusted via the Display Widget Centre, too.

Smaller 4K screen makes sense for the right person

There are a few reasons you may want to go for a smaller screen like this one, instead of 32 inches. One, you may not need the space for multiple windows. Two, you play more competitive games where a smaller screen is better suited. And three, you want something high-end, but don’t fancy paying well over $1,000 just for a larger screen!

Who is this deal for?

I’d say that if you have an RTX 5080 or RTX 5090 build, then this monitor is going to pair extremely well with it. I’d also say that this monitor, while great for creatives, is better primarily for gaming in my opinion. The extra space of a 32-inch monitor can be genuinely useful for creatives, especially with space-hogging creative application UIs and tools, or if you’re working from reference material. ASUS does have 32-inch variants, and they do obviously get hit with discounts, so be sure to check out our top monitor deals below to see what else is out there.
