It’s a great time to grab this ASUS ROG Strix 34-inch gaming monitor for less, as it’s now down to its best price ever on Amazon with a solid 16% discount. It’s coming in at $629.00, which is not bad at all for a premium, 34-inch QD-OLED monitor from one of the leaders in the space.
So, what are you getting here? Well, this monitor is 3440 × 1440p, which gives you much more horizontal space than your typical 2560 × 1440 models and offers a wider field of view for gaming with a 21:9 aspect ratio. That’s great for more immersive and cinematic games, like open-world games, simulators, and racing games, for example. Being QD-OLED, it also boasts very impressive color and contrast, with decent peak brightness, which is going to provide outstanding HDR performance for lifelike visuals across the board.

What we like about this ASUS ROG Strix 34″ ultrawide gaming monitor
Excellent resolution-to-size ratio for picture clarity and not as demanding as 4K
You’re getting a high level of pixel density, and something that’s not going to require an absolute S-tier gaming PC to utilize fully, either. If you’ve got an RTX 5070 Ti or RX 9070 XT, this monitor would pair with it very nicely.
Outstanding color and HDR performance
This monitor boasts 99% DCI-P3 color coverage and has a 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio, which is great for showcasing games at their best and also brilliant for video editors, too.
ELMB Sync reduces perceived motion blur even further
ASUS’ Extreme Low Motion Blur technology works alongside adaptive sync to further improve motion clarity. Essentially, by precisely controlling the monitor’s refresh timing, fast-moving objects look sharper and are easier to track. That’s great for competitive gaming, as it helps you follow opponents’ movements more easily.
OLED Care Pro helps protect against burn-in
This monitor features an extensive OLED protection suite, which can automatically perform maintenance routines and even adjust its settings on the fly if it detects potential burn-in threats, like logos, taskbars, and other static images.
Should you get this deal?
As mentioned, if you’ve got something akin to an RTX 5070 Ti or RX 9070 XT, then this monitor is going to be great for you. That being said, it’s much better suited to slower-paced, cinematic, and immersive titles than hardcore competitive gaming. The good news is that ASUS has a load of high-refresh-rate QHD, 27-inch options that are cheaper than this, which would be better for the latter.
