Table of Contents
If you’re looking for an RTX 5060 gaming laptop for a great price, you’ll want to check out this discounted Acer Nitro V 16. It’s dropped to its best price ever on Amazon with 15% off, and it’s now coming in at $1,099.99. That’s genuinely a very good price for an RTX 5060 gaming laptop, as they tend to creep a little closer to the $1,300 mark in my experience, especially nowadays.
Acer Nitro V 16 AI Copilot+ PC Gaming Laptop
This laptop is obviously slightly more entry-level; however, you’re still getting a solid configuration for gaming. With the RTX 5060, you’ve got 8GB of GDDR7 VRAM, and Blackwell features like DLSS with MFG, 4th-gen ray tracing cores, and 5th-gen tensor cores. It’s a great card for 1080p/1200p gaming, the former in particular at higher, more competitive framerates. The CPU is a Ryzen AI 5 340 processor, which has 6 cores, 12 threads, a boost clock of up to 4.8 GHz, and a 16MB L3 cache. Again, it’s not the highest-spec, but it’s more than appropriate for a gaming-first build, and not overall expensive either.
Elsewhere, with this laptop you’ve got a 16″ WUXGA display, which will look crisp and clear and give you a bit of extra space compared to a standard FHD screen. It’s IPS, giving you wider viewing angles, and has a 180Hz refresh rate, which is well aligned with this laptop’s capabilities. It also features 16GB of DDR5 and a somewhat modest 512GB SSD, the former of which is actually pretty good for the price and will help when you’re playing more asset-heavy titles.

What we like about this Acer Nitro V 16 gaming laptop
A smart, cost-effective pick for gaming on the go
It’s one of the most affordable RTX 5060 laptops I’ve come across, and it makes a lot of sense for those looking to keep costs closer to $1,000 and grab something primarily for gaming on the move.
High refresh rate display
At 180Hz and 1200p, it gives you plenty of headroom for fast-paced, competitive gaming, without being completely overkill for the RTX 5060 mobile’s capability.
Its CPU makes sense from a price-to-performance perspective
You’re not paying for a huge core-count CPU designed for heavy-duty multitasking or creative workloads, and that’s a good thing, as not everyone actually needs that. It’s another clever way this laptop can stay more affordable and accessible.
Things to consider before buying
If you’re looking for more affordable RTX 5060 gaming laptops, now does seem to be a good time to grab one for a great price. I’d say that your best bet if you’re still shortlisting would be Acer Nitro, ASUS TUF gaming, and potentially some MSI and Gigabyte options. In my experience, HP OMEN, Lenovo Legion, and Alienware tend to be on he pricier side, but you may still be able to find some cracking deals there, too.
