Prime Big Deal knocks superb ASUS ROG OLED gaming monitor to its lowest ever price on Amazon
Table of Contents
This outstanding ASUS ROG Strix 27-inch OLED gaming monitor has crashed to its lowest price ever on Amazon, thanks to a hefty 36% off with a Prime Big Deal. It’s now coming in at just $384.00, which is seriously competitive for a premium ASUS ROG Strix monitor, which can easily command higher price tags.
This monitor is QHD and 240Hz, which makes it well-suited for mid-to-upper-end 1440p gaming PCs. It’s a WOLED display with a TrueBlack Glossy finish, which is designed to enhance perceived contrast and vibrancy, while adding the slightly hazy effect that can sometimes be caused by anti-glare coatings. In terms of picture quality, you’re getting an impressive 1.5M:1 contrast ratio, 99% DCI-P3, and True 10-bit color. What this is going to give you is a much more cinematic look and feel to whatever you’re playing, especially if you’re playing in HDR. Having a wider color coverage also ensures that what you see is much more true-to-life. That’s especially important for more subtle colors, like skin tones and hues.
ASUS ROG Strix 27” OLED Gaming Monitor (XG27AQDMGR)
Gaming performance is very good here, but it’s more than just its 240Hz refresh rate and low 0.03ms response time. ASUS has its impressive ELMB technology, which basically strobes the backlight to make fast-moving gameplay look much clearer. It’s a big win if you’re playing competitively and need to be able to track opponents’ movement. It also has FreeSync Premium Pro, which is great for reducing screen tearing and stutter, and is also certified to improve HDR gaming performance.
