Prime Big Deal on 1TB external SSD slashes 20% off the asking price, exclusively for Amazon Prime members
Table of Contents
Amazon’s latest Prime Day event (officially Prime Big Deal Days) is taking place October 6-7, so there’s not long left to make the most of the offers available right now. SSD prices have been hit pretty hard by demand from AI firms, but the flash sale has come along to help soften the blow. If you’re in need of an external SSD right now, ORICO’s 1TB M25PRO is currently 20% off.
With a usual list price of $149.99, the M25PRO model has dropped to $119.99 for 1TB of storage. You may also be happy to hear that its 512GB and 256GB variants are also on sale during Prime Day, dropping as low as $39.99. Unfortunately, the 2TB and 480GB sizes remain at full price. In any case, all of these offers are exclusive to Amazon Prime members during the sales.

What we like about this external SSD deal
1TB storage with 460MB/s speeds
While 460MB/s isn’t the fastest SSD speed you’ll come across, even for an external model, it’s suitable for general storage. WE wouldn’t recommend it for professionals, but it’s also much faster than a traditional hard drive (HDD) – more than 3.5x faster – so it’ll make file transfers feel much snappier if you’re upgrading from an outdated drive. The 1TB size is also more than enough for most users.

USB-C connectivity and 2-in-1 cable
The ORICO M25PRO is compatible with a wide range of devices thanks to its USB-C connectivity, allowing it to work with your tablet or mobile phone – including recent iPhones. The 2-in-1 cable also features a USB-A, which is more commonly found on PCs and laptops. ORICO says it’s compatible with Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and more.
Compact size
The M25PRO is a pocket-sized SSD, with the dimensions sitting at 4.92 x 3.14 x 0.51 inches, making it easily portable and smaller than most modern smartphones. As such, it’s ideal for work or school to store all your files – business documents, presentations, media files, and whatever else.
