16GB of DDR5 is a big win for the price
Not every gaming laptop under $1,000 gets DDR5 as standard, but here, you’re getting this significantly faster than DDR4 memory for a great price, so you can enjoy smoother gaming and multitasking without completely breaking the bank.
The RTX 5050 graphics card gets you excellent FHD performance, and Blackwell features for less
With 8GB of VRAM, 4th-gen ray tracing cores, and 5th-gen tensor cores, plus exclusive 50-series features like MFG, this mobile graphics card is a winner if you’re looking for excellent FHD/ FHD+ gaming performance without being tethered to a desk.
A capable processor that’s good for more than just gaming
This laptop features an Intel Core i5-13450HX processor, which has 10 cores and 16 threads, a boost clock speed of 4.6GHz, and 20MB Intel Smart Cache. Combined, you’re getting something with strong multitasking capabilities and solid gaming performance, too.
Super durable design and beefy battery make this laptop a quality portable pick
This laptop features ASUS TUF’s signature military-grade construction, designed to protect against knocks and bumps, which can easily happen when taking a laptop on the go. IT also has a huge 90-watt-hour battery, so you won’t be scrambling to find a socket all the time, either.
Why it’s a good time to buy
As you can see from the graph above, this laptop has dropped to its best price ever on Amazon, making it a very good time to go for it.
In recent months, from my own experience searching for RTX 5050 laptop deals, I haven’t seen many sub-$900 deals for a while now. It’s a rare find, in that respect.
It’s also a limited-time deal, and based on previous price history, I’d say it’s likely to jump back up to around the $1,000 mark when it finishes. Saving around $100 is a big win, especially on more budget-friendly gaming laptops, so it’s well worth going for.
