RTX 5080 gaming laptop with Intel Ultra 9 275HX and massive 64GB of DDR5 now going for a competitive price with Amazon deal
Table of Contents
This powerful RTX 5080 gaming laptop is currently $400 off and down to $2,799.00 on Amazon, through PCOnline US, and it’s yet another very competitively priced option if you want something for powerhouse gaming performance with serious workstation capabilities on the go.
This is a Thunderobot gaming laptop, which is a brand that tends to offer configurations that are punchy, but at a price point that’s very reasonable, relatively speaking, of course. With this Zero Pro 18, you’ve got, as mentioned, a powerful RTX 5080 mobile, which packs 16GB of GDDR7, and is a quality pick for QHD gaming, with 4K capabilities. It’s also a beast for creative workflows and heavy productivity, and a very strong choice if you’re working in video editing and 3D. On the CPU side, you’ve got a 24-core, 36MB L3 cache, 5.4GHz boost clock Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX, which is ideal for both high fps, low frame latency gaming, multitasking, and use in creative apps.

On top of this, there’s a massive 64GB of DDR5, to dramatically improve gaming performance and make for a super responsive and speedy overall computing experience. There’s also a large 2TB SSD, which provides ample room for both games and dense media files accumulated with creative work. Add that to a large 18-inch display, 2.5K display, with a high 240Hz refresh rate and impressive 100% DCI-P3 color for lifelike picture quality and accurate edits for professional creatives, and you really do have something that ticks all the boxes for a fair whack less than your typical RTX 5080 models, which can easily be well above $3000.

Other standout features of this gaming laptop
Speedy WIFI connectivity
This laptop features WIFI 6E connectivity, which is great if you’re looking for super-fast download speeds, fast online gaming, and improved streaming capabilities.
Impressive thermal architecture
You’ve got an upgraded heat dissipation architecture here, with three Night Owl fans, seven high-efficiency heat pipes, and more, to help keep this laptop working at its best even under heavy and sustained loads.
Stylish and premium design
This laptop has some high-end finishing and design accents, like an illuminated logo, per-key RGB, and a unique mix of matte, glossy, and high gloss textures, which give it a more dynamic look and feel.
Who is this deal for?
If you want a level up from an RTX 5070 Ti gaming laptop, but without paying that much more of a premium, then this is a great way to go, and is a very good option for gaming and demanding creative work. The only slight downside is that its screen, while impressive, isn’t OLED. That means you’re not going to be getting the super high contrast and inky blacks associated with an OLED panel, but the silver lining is that this Thunderobot laptop’s screen is 500 nits, and arguably better suited for well-lit environments and daylight usage.
If you are going for an OLED screen, I’d recommend looking at Lenovo Legion and HP Omen gaming laptops. They’ll very likely be more expensive, but for outright picture quality, they could be worth it. Check out our top gaming laptop deals below to see what’s out there.
