To test the performance of this processor, we paired it with the RTX 4070 Ti Super and a bunch of benchmarking software to see how this pairing performs. These software include Cinebench, Geekbench, CPU-Z, and more. The tests are divided into single-core and multi-core performance, the former of which is an indicator of gaming performance while the latter is used to gauge how well a CPU will handle multi-threaded tasks.
In CPU-Z single-core, the 7800X3D delivered 643 points, and in multi-core, we got 7,085. For comparison, its predecessor, the Ryzen 7 5800X3D, managed 461 and 4,889 points, which shows how much the 7800X3D improved since the previous generation. So, this CPU can be used with any graphics card without any issues, as it is still a solid option for gaming, but for productivity, the newer X3D or X processors would be a better fit.
Should you get the Ryzen 7 7800X3D?
