If you’re looking for an affordable 4K monitor, but don’t want to skimp on performance, then it’s always a good idea to explore some of the less familiar brands on the market. I’ve spotted an already wallet-friendly, 32″ 4K gaming monitor from Arzopa, that’s now going for less on Amazon thanks to a solid 25% discount – bringing its price down from $399.99 to just $299.99, its lowest price ever on Amazon.

Arzopa is fairly new brand based in China, known for its affordable monitors (it also makes a load of portable monitors too, if that’s your bag). This particular display looks to be a fairly popular choice on Amazon, with over 400 bought in the last month. It’s also received some high-praise for its picture quality and performance at higher frame-rates, especially for the price.

Perfect size for 4K: 32-inches is ideal for making the most out of 4K, without having something that dominates your setup. It’s much better to go for this size than 27-inches, which can be fairly pointless considering QHD looks great at that size, and is cheaper too. 32-inches also give you a lot more screen real-estate to work with. That’s ideal for having multiple windows open.
144hz/ 1ms: So this is pretty standard, but still great to see at this price-point. This will allow for high fps at 4K, and the 1ms response time will ensure that on-screen motion is ultra-smooth.
HDMI 2.1 ports: If you’ve got a PS5 or Xbox Series X, this monitor is going to be able to work well with them – especially if you want to (theoretically) game at 4K, 120fps.
120% sRGB: This is actually pretty good, and basically just means that this monitor can reproduce a wide range of colors accurately, alongside it looking incredibly vivid too.
HDR400: Another good sign that this monitor has excellent contrast, decent brightness, and good color. This is especially important if you’re looking for a more life-like picture.
Adjustable stand with small foot-base: Ideal for finding the perfect position for you, but also great for making the most out of your desk space.

My thoughts on this monitor

This monitor is actually pretty good for the price, considering it’s an 144hz, 4K display. It leans more towards the ‘basics’ rather than the top-end components, which is understandable since it’s more a budget option. It’s an LCD instead of an OLED for instance, and it has adaptive sync technology, but not the absolute top-tier version of it. Needless to say though, it will still more than do the job, and if the Amazon reviews are anything to go by, it delivers the goods.

I think for a cost-effective setup, you can’t really go wrong with this monitor, and since it’s at its lowest price ever, I think it’s a great time to buy if you’re interested in it.
