Sony Bravia 65″ QD-OLED TV knocked to its lowest price in months on Amazon with limited-time deal
Table of Contents
I’ve spotted a cracking limited-time deal on one of Sony’s Bravia 8 II 65-inch TVs on Amazon, which has knocked it down to its lowest price in months. It now has 24% off its list price and comes in at $2,498.00, which is expensive, sure, but this is a seriously impressive TV designed with enthusiasts and PS5 owners in mind.
What you’ve got here is a 65-inch QD-OLED TV with a 120Hz native refresh rate and Sony’s highly regarded, advanced XR processor. Being QD-OLED means you get super-deep blacks, rich color, and good peak brightness. This means outstanding HDR performance. Speaking of HDR, this TV supports HDR10, HLG, and Dolby Vision, which means its HDR presentation is far more dynamic and nuanced than your standard TV. Rather than slapping a fixed setting onto a film, it can actually adjust its picture scene-by-scene, so you can really experience movies and shows the way they were intended to be.
Gaming performance is excellent, too, and this TV is loaded with features designed for high-end consoles like the PS5 Pro and even gaming PCs, too. There’s VRR for smoother, tear-free gameplay, ALLM to help reduce latency, and its 120Hz refresh rate allows you to game at up to 120fps at 4K, too.

As mentioned, its XR processor is actually one of its standout features, as it’s one of the most advanced processors out there. Think of it like the brain of this TV, which is always trying to make everything look at its best. With this TV, you’ve got AI upscaling, XR Triluminos Max for a wider range of colors, XR Contrast Booster 25, XR OLED motion to make fast-paced scenes appear smoother, and XR Clear Image to make non-native 4K content look much clearer and cleaner.
There are a few more standout features that I’ll get into shortly, but overall, this really is an incredible TV, and at its current price, I’d say it’s a good time to go for it if you’re really looking for outstanding picture quality and performance on a large, but not overly massive, screen.

Is this TV right for you?
This is an enthusiast-level TV, so it’s really all about absolute S-tier picture quality. One thing to consider is the room you’re putting it in, however. If it’s dark, there’s no issue at all, but if it’s on the brighter side, you may want to explore mini-LED options instead. Since OLEDs are traditionally backlit, they’re basically not as bright as something that is. So for well-lit environments, you’re going to be better off with something brighter, like a mini-LED, which can sometime reach well over 1000 nits peak.
