The Sony K-55XR70 is a 55″ mini-LED 4K TV that we came across on Amazon with a very tempting 21% price cut. The original asking price was $1,398, but with this offer, it’ll only set you back $1,098, making it a very handsome offer. At its heart, you’ll find the XR Processor that powers all the features and technologies such as XR Contrast Booster, upscaling, and more. There are a handful of features that cater to different genres, motion, and other aspects to ensure that you have a premium viewing experience.

Exclusive features for the PlayStation 5 are great for gamers, as this will streamline the gaming experience, while the sheer quality and sound of this 4K TV will drive a cinematic output. We recommend this TV for medium-sized rooms, as it’ll fit in perfectly without being too small or too large. So, with the current offer, we think it is definitely worth taking a minute out for.

XR Processor and Triluminos Pro

The XR Processor analyzes picture content in real time to improve clarity, contrast, and color, making everything from streaming series to 4K movies appear more polished. It works with XR Triluminos Pro, which displays many colors so that landscapes, skin tones, and vivid scenes look more natural and detailed. The TV’s Mini LED backlight and XR Backlight Master Drive also carefully manage illumination across different screen areas, allowing bright highlights to stand out while keeping dark scenes deep and detailed.

Exclusive PS5 features

This TV comes ready for PlayStation 5 as it has a native 120Hz panel and HDMI 2.1 support, which supports 4K/120Hz, Variable Refresh Rate, and Auto Low Latency Mode, which reduces screen tearing and input lag for a better gaming experience. If you play fast-paced shooters, racing games, or cinematic adventures, the Auto HDR Tone Mapping feature automatically adjusts the HDR picture settings during your initial PS5 setup, helping HDR content to look more natural without time-consuming adjustments. The Auto Genre Picture Mode can also switch your TV between a game mode and other picture modes based on the activity of the connected console, which can help you get optimal settings for each game without fiddling with them.
