Prime Big Deal Days is here, and there are some cracking offers on gaming monitors right now, especially if you’re looking for an OLED. This Samsung 27-inch Odyssey G6 has dropped back down to its best price again on Amazon and is now going for just $384.99. That’s a cracking price for a monitor of this calibre.
What you’ve essentially got here is a very strong monitor for QHD OLED gaming, but for those who enjoy both cinematic and competitive play. It features a high, but not overkill, 240Hz refresh rate, with a low 0.03ms response time, making it excellent for fast-paced gaming with low motion blur. At the same time, its QD-OLED display provides exceptional contrast, bright highlights, and true-to-life color, which gives games a more atmospheric and realistic sheen. Gaming performance in general is enhanced with FreeSync Premium, which is designed to reduce screen tearing and stutter.

That’s especially useful when playing games with static images, like menus or crosshairs, which are the usual culprits for burn-in. Elsewhere, this monitor has some solid quality-of-life features. Like a fully adjustable, ergonomic stand, small base, and anti-glare display.
