What we liked about this gaming laptop
To begin with, this gaming laptop is one of the best offerings we’ve seen on Amazon because the hardware inside its chassis gives it extreme processing power. The combination of the Core Ultra 9 275HX and the RTX 5080 makes it a suitable machine for pretty much anything you can throw at it. This can include 4K gaming, 4K video editing, 3D rendering, training large language models, and more.

The RTX 5080 specifically is a 4K gaming graphics card with excellent productivity and AI output, and you should have no issues regardless of the task at hand. What makes it even better is the massive 18-inch display with a QHD+ resolution (16:10 aspect ratio), providing more screen real estate and making the gaming and working experience more comfortable and immersive. The 300Hz refresh rate might seem like overkill, but at 1440p, the RTX 5080 can easily turn out high frame rates, and with the help of DLSS 4 and multi-frame generation, and some titles, you can ramp up the in-game graphics for excellent visuals without worrying about the FPS taking a hit.
To ensure streamlined processing, the TTP can go up to 280W, with the GPU and CPU getting up to 175W and 105W, respectively. It has two SO-DIMM slots, meaning you can take the current 32GB DDR5 RAM up to 64GB, which should ensure solid processing and efficiency. The Cryo-Chamber feature props up the laptop to ensure adequate airflow, and a Gorilla glass panel gives you a look inside the inner mechanics.
Who’s this deal for?
Overall, everything about this gaming laptop screams premium, and from the build quality to the performance, there is nothing that we didn’t like. That being said, the price tag will most likely be a deal breaker for many, but if you’re a professional that requires such a level of firepower on the go, this is an excellent machine to get your hands on.
