Superb RX 9070 XT, Ryzen 7 7800X3D gaming PC knocked to its lowest price in 30 days at Newegg
Table of Contents
This Stormcraft Valkyrie gaming PC is currently down to its lowest price in 30 days at Newegg, coming in at $1,999.99 with a solid $300 discount. For a touch under $2,000, you’re getting a lot here as you’ll see.
First off, it comes with an RX 9070 XT 16GB, which is a fantastic graphics card for 1440p with strong 4K capabilities, and a popular alternative to the likes of the more expensive RTX 5070 Ti in most cases. That’s paired with the still-impressive Ryzen 7 7800X3D. It’s a CPU that was once the King of gaming processors, but has since been ousted by its younger siblings like the Ryzen 7 9800X3D. That being said, it still receives a royal welcome into many high-powered PC builds, largely thanks to its massive 96MB L3 cache. Using AMD’s innovative 3D V-cache technology, this CPU is capable of handling CPU-bound games with ease, at very high framerates, with very little latency. A strong choice for even some of the very best graphics cards on the market today.
There’s also a plentiful amount of RAM and storage here, coming in at 32GB of DDR5 and 2TB. Brilliant for gaming performance, and more than enough room to house a large collection of increasingly beefy AAA game releases. Cooling is robust with a 360mm AIO and 7 fans, and there’s also ample power via its 850W 80+ Gold-rated PSU. In fact, when combined with its roomy PC case and B850 motherboard, you’ve got a decent foundation for upgrades, too.

So should you buy it? Well, if you’re looking for something ideally for QHD that’s going to trade blows with the RTX 5070 Ti from a raw-performance perspective, but for less than a similar RTX 5070 Ti, Ryzen 7 7800X3D build, this is a good way to go.
What we like about this Stormcraft Valkyrie gaming PC
Exceptional graphics card for QHD and 4K for the price
Built on RDNA 4 architecture, featuring 16GB of GDDR6, and boasting improvements to both its ray tracing and AI capabilities, the RX 9070 XT is still one of the best graphics cards you can get from a price-to-performance perspective.
Brilliant CPU for gaming and more affordable than newer models
With a 96MB L3 cache, 5GHz boost clock speed, 8 cores, and 16 threads, and built on the future-facing AM5 socket, there’s still a lot to love about this CPU. And since it’s on the older side, it’s a fair whack more affordable nowadays, too.
No skimping on RAM or storage
32GB of DDR5 and 2TB is a big win nowadays, saving you a costly upgrade and aligning with modern gaming requirements.
Strong performance foundation
Powerful CPU cooling, loads of airflow, a robust PSU, and a larger PC case set this PC up nicely to handle heavy and sustained usage.
