The Thermaltake LCGS Quartz i460 is a pocket-friendly gaming PC powered by the Intel Core i5-14400F and the RTX 5060. These components are perfect for a budget build, as they are energy-efficient and boast a solid price-to-performance ratio. The RTX 5060 is great for 1080p and 1440p gaming with high FPS, and also adds DLSS 4.5 and MFG to the equation. The overall white PC build has a nice and clean look, and for only $983.99, it is a steal.
That being said, it is important to keep in mind that this PC isn’t the best for intense workflows and heavy multitasking, given the nature of the components. So, if you want to explore options, we’ve got more gaming PC deals at the bottom of this page, which are definitely worth a look.

What we liked about this gaming PC
RTX 5060 can punch above its weight class
This entry-level graphics card gets a bad rap due to its 8GB VRAM, but tailored for budget users, it easily gets the job done. The Blackwell architecture, combined with GDDR7 memory, 1080p, and 1440p, is a breeze for it, and that is where it truly excels. It can handle pretty much any titles at these resolutions, and that is without calling in DLSS 4.5 and MFG for heavy lifting. So, with these weapons in its arsenal as well, you can push the graphics limits during gaming without compromising FPS.

i5-14400F works wonders with its hybrid 10-core design
You’ll find this processor in a lot of budget gaming PCs because it has 10 cores and 16 threads and gets the job done without needing much power. Also, part of the 14th-gen lineup, it has good performance and doesn’t bottleneck at 1080p, which is critical for pocket-friendly hardware matchups. The hybrid design of this CPU splits the cores to efficiently handle demanding and low-resource workflows, so whatever is needed at the time is utilized.
16GB DDR4 RAM is decent for everyday tasks and gaming
The rising prices of DDR5 RAM also increase the cost of prebuilt PCs, but since the processor supports both DDR4 and DDR5, it offers plenty of versatility and helps keep prices low. That being said, it is more than enough for gaming, as I use DDR4 16GB RAM and play games at maxed-out 1440p. You also have the option to upgrade to DDR5 without any compatibility issues, but we recommend waiting for Prime Day to see if any kits go on sale to secure one.
