This excellent bang for your buck 75-inch Hisense TV now has a new great price on Amazon

Hisense is one of the best places to start your search if you’re looking for a large TV, packed with high-end features, but at an affordable price point. The good news is that many of its TVs are often on sale and have various different promotions. In fact, around Black Friday, these TVs fly off the shelves – and with good reason.
If you are looking for a quality75-inch TV for under $1000, I’d recommend checking out this deal on this Hisense U7 Mini-LED series. It’s currently down 26% on Amazon, bringing its price from $1,199.00 to $887.99. That’s over $310 down from the list price – not too shabby at all.
Here I’ll explain some of the features of this TV in plain speak, so you know more about what you’re getting, and also give my two cents on who I think this TV is best suited to. Let’s dive in.

Understanding this TV
Here’s a breakdown of its key features, in easy-to-understand terms.
- Mini-LED: In short, smaller LEDs mean more control, so you’re going to get better contrast and better brightness. This makes for more life-like images, which is great for both streaming and gaming.
- Filmmaker mode: This is actually really cool, especially if you’re a film buff. It switches off all the various features and tricks the TV will do to enhance the picture quality, and shows you exactly what the director wanted you to see. You’ll often notice this with color grading, for instance. A must-have if you want the authentic cinema experience.
- 144hz game mode pro: A little confusing, but essentially this TV can reach up to 144 frames per second, and has adaptive sync technology to help it remain smooth when it does. This is good for gaming, as when things start going very fast, some TVs can struggle to keep up, resulting in screen tearing – which looks terrible!
- Low Latency MEMC: Another feature that reduces input lag, which means that when you press a button on your gamepad, it should feel very responsive on screen. Some TVs have quite high lag compared to gaming monitors – so this a win.
- Dolby Atmos: This is a tech that allows you to create a virtual 3D soundscape, so it’s great if you’re paring this TV with surround sound speakers. You can even place them overhead, thanks to this tech. It’s a must if you’re creating a home theatre.
There’s a breakdown of some of the more difficult to understand features of this TV, but the big question is…
Is it for you?
If you’re looking for a massive screen for under $1000, yes – 100% this is a brilliant option to go for that won’t break the bank. I wouldn’t compare it to something more premium, as at this size it would cost thousands of dollars, but in terms of what you’re getting for the price, it’s got everything you need really. Again, it’s easy to see why Hisense is so popular with those looking to build out epic home theatres, but without having to spend too much. The only area I’d say this falls down is the profile. Basically, it’s not super slim, because it’s not OLED. But that’s about it…
All in all – a great TV for a great price. Well worth considering in my opinion.
