What we think of this Sony 85″ X77L 4K TV deal
Although the X77L may not be the very latest model from Sony, it still brings so much to the table, and is clearly designed to cater to all of the needs of your household. Sports and movies fans will love the Ultra High Definition and enhanced color that this TV, not to mention the home theatre-sized screen itself. Older content will look fresher than ever, thanks to the 4K upscaling, and the Google TV platform is slick and intuitive. Being a Sony product, anyone with a PS5 console will enjoy seamless integration too.
As we can see from the graph above the price of the X77L has stayed fairly constant at the full price of $1,498 since the summer of 2025, and the current discount down to $998, represents the cheapest we have ever seen this model. That makes this the perfect time to land a high-performance and, don’t forget, an absolutely massive TV for less than $1,000, and we think that has the making of a great deal.
