Acer announced its new Predator Atlas 7 handheld around the time the Atlas 8 became available to pre-order last month. And now, pre-orders for the smaller (7-inch screen) model have appeared in the United Kingdom. At the time of writing, Acer lists several other UK retailers which will stock the Atlas 7, with pre-orders “coming soon” – there will also be a launch pack offer.

Tech retailers Scan and Box are the first retailers stocking the more affordable 7-inch model, while Acer says the handheld will soon be available in the UK at Currys and EE, depending on the model. We’re yet to see either Atlas model appear in the United States. The Atlas 7 will be available in Intel Arc G3 and Intel Arc G3 Extreme variants; the flagship offers 24GB of memory and 1TB of storage space.

Acer Predator Atlas 7 pre order bonus and launch offer

Interestingly, the model currently available on Box does not list the 512GB of storage (PCIe 4.0 SSD) specified in Acer’s official specs, only mentioning 128GB of eMMC storage. We currently assume it is an error in the retail listing, but cannot confirm this. In any case, Box lists the estimated release date as September 20, so we still have a few more weeks before it is officially released.

Both versions of the Predator Atlas 7 – the Intel Arc G3 and Intel Arc G3-powered models – will also ship with a bundle worth over £285 if you pre-order it ahead of release. Following release, the offer is downgraded to the ‘Buy Now Phase’ and will be available for a limited time, dropping down to £235 worth of goodies, as a couple of the free gifts are dropped from the promotion. The whole list is as follows:

• Premium Handheld Gaming Dock
• Acer 100W GaN Fast Charger
• Acer Extended 3-Year Protection
• High-Speed NVMe SSD Enclosure
• Predator Wireless Controller
• Your choice of blockbuster AAA game (Star Wars: Galactic Racer or Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis)
