For a while now, fans have been waiting for Black Myth: Wukong, the newest AAA action RPG game, to release. The game has been out for less than 24 hours, yet AMD has already updated the Adrenalin Drivers so players can get an even better experience.

The Radeon Adrenalin 24.8.1 GPU drivers have been released and are available for installation. This upgrade includes support for some newly released AAA games, Anti-Lag 2 for Ghost of Tsushima, and other updates.

New drivers add support for Black Myth: Wukong and Star Wars Outlaws

As per the official post shared by AMD, the Radeon Adrenalin 24.8.1 GPU drivers have added support for two AAA games – Black Myth: Wukong and Star Wars Outlaws. Further, the drivers will also support Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Open Beta and Concord. And with the Adrenalin 24.10.37.01 GPU driver (beta), players can also get support for Final Fantasy XVI.

In addition to this, the driver update also brings new and enhanced HYPR-Tune support. With this, players can enable AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution automatically. The HYPR-Tune support is available for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

Ghost of Tsushima gets Anti-Lag 2, among other fixes

Further, Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut, which was released recently in May, has received support for Anti-Lag 2. This promises to decrease latency significantly at 4K “Very High” settings while using AMD FSR 3. Users can record and compare the response time with the new FLM tool.

Along with this, the driver update has also fixed other issues like Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess crashing, increased memory usage while playing Minecraft Java Edition, and more. Full information about this update can be found on AMD's official post.

In case you missed it, AMD launched its next-gen lineup of CPUs last week. The Zen 5 processors include the flagship Ryzen 9 9950X, the high-end Ryzen 9 9900X, Ryzen 7 9700X, and the Ryzen 5 9600X. On the other hand, AMD’s RX 8000 series GPUs are expected to hit the market next year.
