ASUS ROG Ally users can get the latest Dragon Age game for free – and yes, it’s to keep

Table of Contents
The ROG Ally is ASUS’ answer to the Steam Deck, giving players a Windows-based handheld to enjoy gaming on the go. Thanks to using the Windows 11 operating system, that means easy access to the Epic Games Store and their well-known free game offers. Right now, you can get Dragon Age: Inquisition for completely free, though you’ll need to act quick as this promotion won’t be around forever. It’s the latest in the franchise as upcoming ‘Dreadwolf’ is still yet to get a release date.
With the ASUS ROG Ally X soon on the way, some renewed interest in the device has been sparked. If you’re looking for a new game to play – or simply want to revisit this one in handheld form, it’s just a click away. Obviously this promotion also goes for any Windows user, but we think that ROG Ally deserves the spotlight following a similar deal on Steam.

Get Dragon Age: Inquisition for free on the Epic Games Store
Not only is Dragon Age: Inquisition a great title to play on your ASUS ROG Ally, but the Game of the Year edition which comes bundled with additional post-launch content is being given away for free (to keep) for a limited time on the Epic Games Store. You can check it out via this link. It’s an action adventure RPG game that originally released to favorable reviews back in 2014.
You have until May 23 at 4PM BST to claim it. Epic has kept it plain and simple – just press the ‘Get’ button, straight to the point. This will add it to your Epic Games library, whether you want to play now or save it for a rainy day.
One user on Reddit reports that they finished the game last year on their Ally, running at 60 FPS on the 15W power setting at 900p resolution. So, it’s pretty easy to achieve smooth performance in the game without compromising much.
What does the Game of the Year edition come with?
As we mentioned above, it’s actually the Game of the Year edition being give away for free. This includes a bunch of bonus DLC content and gear. We found a full list on the store page:
• Base game
• Flames of the Inquisition Arsenal, Armor, and Armored Mount
• Dragon Age multiplayer Deluxe Edition chests
• Skyhold Throne, Red Hart Halla and Bog Unicorn
• Jaws of Hakkon DLC Pack
• The Descent DLC Pack

• Spoils of the Avvar: 5 new mounts, 2 new sets of armor, and new options to personalize your base at Skyhold.
• Spoils of the Qunari: An armored war mount, new armor sets — including 1 in the style of the Arishok — and Skyhold items.
