Baldur’s Gate 3 meets Kingdom Come Deliverance in new Henry of Skalitz mod

Table of Contents
Baldur's Gate 3 remains one of the most popular Western RPGs on PC, as demonstrated by the massive array of mods available for it. Many BG3 fans who ran out of content to play have been checking out Kingdom Come: Deliverance for a similar gameplay experience. Now thanks to an enterprising modder, they have to chance to bring the two together.
Henry of Skalitz, known to his friends and allies as ‘Hal', is the main character of Kingdom Come: Deliverance and its sequel. Those who played KCD who became attached to Henry, or sympathized with his brutal and tragic background might wonder how he would fare in the world of Faerun if he was brought into Baldur's Gate 3.

A modder known as Steakybaby has brought this idea to life by creating a mod that lets a Baldur's Gate 3 player put Henry of Skalitz's head and hair onto Human Body Type 2. A player can then take Henry on adventures alongside companions such as Astarion and Lae'zel.

The project first came to our attention when Unsteak – presumably Steakbaby’s Reddit account – commented on a Kingdomcome post around “weird DLCs”, stating “I had Henry’s head and hair commissioned (from modder neonbutchery), hopefully, will be on Nexus soon”.
That was just five days ago, and low and behold, here we are, staring into the face of Henry of Skalitz about to take on the mite of BG3.
Baldur’s Gate 3 mod lets you play as Henry of Skalitz
Due to how Baldur's Gate 3 lets players create and evolve their characters, it is entirely possible to keep Henry in character and map many of the skills and abilities onto his Baldur's Gate 3 equivalent.
The mod can be found on Nexus Mods and can be dropped into the BG3 Mod Manager for an easy install. The BG3 Mod Manager itself is an open-source tool that can be found on its own Website or via GitHub.
