The Steam Summer Sale kicked off a week ago today, bringing discounts on a wide range of games. We’re seeing deals offering up to 90% off, so it’s a great opportunity to expand your game library without feeling like you’re overspending. And if you’re a Steam Deck owner looking to try some new titles, there are plenty of compatible games included in the sale.

We previously covered the best Steam Deck games available for under $10 and under $5 during the Summer Sale. However, if you’re looking for the cheapest of the cheap, or simply want to score more titles for less, then there are also plenty of options available for less than $3. You can’t expect new releases or AAA titles with this kind of budget, but you can still bag some hits.

Best Steam Deck games under $3 in the latest Summer Sale

In any case, here are the best Steam Deck games available for under $3 during the ongoing Summer Sale. The sale will conclude on July 9, so you have a week left (as of writing this) to explore the deals.

As you can see in the table above, most of the games we’ve selected are Steam Deck Verified, which means they should run smoothly right out of the box on the handheld. On the other hand, a few are Playable, so they may require some tweaks and adjustments for optimized performance or an optimal experience.

That said, if you’re interested in getting more games for less, we recommend checking out Fanatical’s Triple Pack bundle, which is offering much better discounts than the Summer Sale on 14 Steam Deck-friendly games. The same can be said for its recent Very Positive Deluxe Collection, too.
