Black Friday is here and the deals are rolling in thick and fast, even on products that barely get discounted! Rarely do I find a deal which make me do a double-take, but this PSVR 2 offer is what Black Friday is all about.
Right now, you can score the notoriously full priced PSVR 2 for 37% off on Amazon, bringing its price down from $549.99 to $349.00. That’s an incredible deal and one that you really won’t want to pass up.
Even better is that the Horizon Call of the Mountain bundle is the same price as the standalone headset, only you get even bigger savings as you don’t have to shell out on the game.

Why go for the PSVR 2?
There’s a lot of VR on the market today mostly from Meta, and some HTC, alongside a number of lesser known brands, but the PSVR 2 really stands out from the crowd.
It features two 2000 x 2040 OLED displays with up to 120hz refresh rates. That’s actually 4x the resolution of PSVR 1, which in all honesty still holds its own with some of the best VR headsets today. What that means is that you’re getting super detailed, crisp images, but it can keep up when things start to get more fast-paced. On top of that it has intelligent eye tracking which basically allows you to express yourself through your avatar in chats, as well as 3D audio and haptic feedback.
As far as how it stands up to the Meta Quest 3 or the Meta Quest Pro, it basically has it beat with its OLED lenses as both Meta Quest 3 and Pro have LCD. What that means is that its got much better contrast, and gives games a more life-life quality – something very important when it comes to immersion.
And then there’s the games, including Beat Sabre, Resident Evil 4 VR mode, Horizon Call of the Mountain, and more, plus others on the way too, like Alien: Rogue Incursion in December.
