Instagram profiles can act as holy shires of your accomplishments, a cave full of dank memes, or just endless selfies. Whichever type of profile you’ve got, ChatGPT won’t hold back from roasting it to hell and back. On another note, you can also get it to roast your Minecraft house, as YouTuber ibxtoycat did.

The latest internet trend taking everyone’s social media feeds by storm consists of asking the AI-powered roast master to take a swing at their Instagram profiles, and the results are hilarious. Currently, we have the GPT-4o at our disposal, and it is causing mayhem, so we can only imagine how much more intense it will get when ChatGPT-5 releases.

Want to test your metal against ChatGPT’s burns?

If this trend has caught your attention, the good news is that we’ve got you covered with how to get started. Fair warning: ChatGPT doesn’t hold back, so proceed with caution. Follow the steps below to get started:

  • Head over to ChatGPT.com and sign up using your email or your Google, Microsoft, or Apple account
  • Once your ChatGPT account is set, head over to your Instagram profile or feed and take a screenshot
  • Open ChatGPT’s message box, attach the screenshot, and send it with the prompt “Roast my Instagram feed in one paragraph.”
  • Sit back and watch the magic happen

Obviously, you can change the prompt and play around with it to make it less or more criticizing or ask it to complement your feed passive-aggressively; the opportunities are limitless.
