Crucial’s P310 SSD, which launched earlier this year, is now available in a larger form factor. The new Crucial P310 M.2 2280, which is the full-length form factor, has been released and is now available for purchase. Much like the original 2230, the new SSD also delivers the same transfer speeds. You get 7,100 MB/s and 6,000 MB/s read and write speeds respectively, which is quite a boost over Crucial’s P3 Plus.
The smaller Crucial P310 SSD catered to handheld gaming consoles, like the ASUS ROG Ally X or Steam Deck. So, with the new Crucial P310 M.2 2280, Micron is looking to expand into the PCs, laptops, and console space with the same specs.
The new SSD is available in three capacities: 500GB, 1TB, and 2 TB. People can purchase the P310 SSDs on the official Crucial website as well as major retailers like Amazon, as listed below:
- Crucial P310 1TB 2280 PCIe Gen 4 – 500GB – $49.99
- Crucial P310 1TB 2280 PCIe Gen 4 – 1TB – $84.99
- Crucial P310 1TB 2280 PCIe Gen 4 – 2TB – $139.99

Weech also mentioned that the SSD was based on advanced 3D NAND technology, which will enable users to get power-efficient performance while using resource-intensive apps.
