Delta Force seems to be broken on AMD GPUs, but here’s a quick way to fix it

Delta Force is now live in early access on PC, and it's free for everyone to try. But, like many new games, there have been a few problems. For some, the game is crashing, while others are experiencing stuttering and FPS drop issues. Interestingly, this issue seems to be affecting users with AMD GPUs the most.
AMD GPU users facing issues in Delta Force
Players on the Steam Community Forum are claiming that the game ‘lags a lot in AMD cards.’ According to one of them, the start of the match goes fine, but after around 15 minutes, the FPS starts dropping. Another user added that their FPS dropped from 180 to 40 FPS during a match. The worst part is that even those with a 7900 XTX, which is currently the top gaming GPU offered by AMD, are experiencing the problems.

A quick simple fix
A few months ago, an Alpha Test was hosted for Delta Force. During that, everything was running smoothly, and AMD users weren’t complaining about much. However, after the test ended, AMD released a new driver update for their GPUs, and many players believe that the current issues are linked to it. The good news is, there's an easy solution. If you're facing crashes or stuttering while playing, you can roll back to the previous version of the AMD driver (version 24.8.1), as the older version seems to be more stable with Delta Force.
- Visit AMD’s official website.
- Choose the correct graphics card model from the list. This will help you find the right drivers.
- After selecting your GPU, click the ‘Submit' button.
- On the next page, click on ‘Previous Drivers.'
- Find the 24.8.1 driver version and download it.
- Once it's downloaded, open the file and follow the instructions to install it.
Once you've installed the older driver, restart your PC and try playing Delta Force again. The crashes and stuttering should be gone.
