October 20th, October 27th, and November 5th will all be massive dates in the drone community thanks to DJI announcing a triple threat of big announcements within the next month:
What Will Be Announced?
Needless to say, the rumor mill has gone into overdrive regarding these events. We believe the best will be saved for last, more on that in a moment. The main rumor going around at the moment is all thanks to DroneXL, who believe they have all the details on the upcoming action camera DJI Action 2.
Bearing in mind their article on the matter was from September 30th, DroneXL states that the DJI action 2 action camera will come in both dual-screen and power combo flavors and will be announced on October 27th. So that takes care of the second announcement date.
Whilst we’re not too sure what the October 20th event will bring us, all eyes are on November 5th serving as the official reveal of the Mavic3. The highly anticipated drone was already leaked thanks to Chinese Social media, and luckily for us drone enthusiasts, Twitter leaker Jasper Ellens took some screenshots:
Rumored Specifications for the DJI Action 2 include dual cameras comprised of a four-thirds sensor and telephoto lens. There’s also an upgraded version is the works that contain an SSD and a new version of DJI’s smart controller.
