Epic is throwing a late Winter Sale ahead of Steam’s Spring Sale next month, with up to 90% off

Since video games can be expensive, many people wait for sales events to buy their favorite titles (or rather, soon-to-be favorites) at a discount. Throughout the year, Steam hosts various sales events, offering hundreds of games at reduced prices. However, while the next major event (the Spring Sale) is still a few weeks away, Epic has launched a late Winter Sale with discounts on a large collection of games.
What does the Epic Games Winter Sale offer?
Steam hosted its Winter Sale in December 2024, and since then, many have been waiting for the next big event. While the Lunar New Year Sale and the Real-Time Strategy Fest offered some decent discounts, the deals weren’t as good as those in Steam’s seasonal sales. However, if you use the Epic Games Launcher, you might want to check out the store, as Epic’s late Winter Sale has just gone live.
The biggest discounts are on titles that are over a year old. However, some games released just a few months ago have also received solid discounts, including Dragon Age: The Veilguard and Frostpunk 2. In any case, here are some games that we think are worth considering during the Epic Games Winter Sale.
- Mass Effect Legendary Edition – 90% off ($5.99)
- Red Dead Redemption – 20% off ($39.99)
- Red Dead Redemption 2 – 80% off ($19.99)
- Dragon Age: The Veilguard – 40% off ($35.99)
- Frostpunk 2 – 20% off ($35.99)
- Cyberpunk 2077 – 55% off ($26.99)
- The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition ($9.99)
- Assassin’s Creed Mirage – 60% off ($19.99)
- Manor Lords – 30% off ($27.99)
- Mafia: Definitive Edition – 80% off ($7.99)
- Hogwarts Legacy: Digital Deluxe Edition – 70% off ($20.99)

All the games mentioned above offer plenty of content that will keep you busy for a while. For instance, The Witcher 3 has a main campaign that takes around 52 hours to complete, while 100% completion can take more than 170 hours. If you’re looking for something shorter, then you might want to give Assassin’s Creed Mirage a try, as you can complete its main campaign in around 16 hours.
