Mozilla has released Mozilla Firefox 150, and it’s all about making everyday browsing easier. This update focuses on improving how you browse, manage tabs, and handle everyday tasks, without making things complicated. On top of that, it also expands the built-in VPN to yet another country, bringing the total up to five regions.

What does the update offer?

Split View

One of the main upgrades in this version is the improved Split View feature. You can now right-click any link and open it in split view next to your current tab. This is useful when you want to compare two pages or keep something open while browsing. It’s a feature that Chrome users may already be familiar with.

Firefox also lets you search through your open tabs when setting up split view, so you do not have to scroll through everything. There is also a new option to quickly reverse tab positions, which saves time when you are working with multiple tabs.

Sharing tabs

Sharing tabs is now much simpler as well. You can select multiple tabs, right-click, and copy them all at once. When you paste them into another app, each link includes the page title and URL. This makes the links look clean and easy to understand, especially when sharing with others.

PDF Editor

Firefox has also improved its built-in PDF editor. You can now reorder pages, copy or paste content, delete pages, and export files without leaving the browser. This means you do not need extra software for basic PDF edits, which is very convenient. Another helpful addition is the new real-time translation tool. You can access it by typing “translate” in the address bar. It opens the translations page where you can quickly translate text. The best part is that it works privately, so your data stays secure.

Built-in VPN and other changes

Mozilla is also continuing to expand its built-in VPN service. It was previously available in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, and France, and with Firefox 150, this feature is now available in Canada.

Along with these features, Firefox 150 also brings smaller improvements. Linux users now get a new RPM package for easier installation. Windows users get better profile management and backup options. There are also updates for developers, including support for new web features and APIs.
