Google Pixel 11 series will launch with a price hike, says leak, as all models and release date revealed

Consumers should expect to cough up extra cash for their next smartphone purchase, as the industry continues to deal with memory and storage-related shortages. A new leak suggests Google’s next-gen Pixel phones will be up to €100 more expensive. Seemingly, no one is safe from price hikes, even Apple, which also warned of “unavoidable” price increases last month.
Google still hasn’t announced its next-gen Pixel 11 phones, but we have every reason to believe that they’re coming in August. The last two generations of the smartphone series were launched in August, coinciding with the annual Made by Google event. We expect the same this year, rather than going back to the October release window we saw in previous releases.
Google Pixel 11 expected in August, and more expensive than last gen
This leak comes courtesy of billbil-kun, reporting for French publication Dealabs. The well-known leaker is often a reliable source for information such as this, and the expected pricing so far covers the UK and Europe. We’ll have to wait and see how this translates into USD, likely during the annual Made by Google event (which usually takes place in August). The same leak also claims the Pixel 11 series will fully release on August 20, 2026, with its initial launch and pre-orders going live on August 11.

Reportedly, there will be no 128GB variant of the base Google Pixel 11, effectively hiking the price of the cheapest model from €899 to €999. On the bright side, Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro pricing is otherwise equivalent to the Pixel 10 series. However, the Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pro Fold are expected to increase by €100 across the board for all storage capacities. UK pricing shows a similar increase.
When it comes to colorways, the leak claims that all 1TB models will only be in Midnight Haze (black). Otherwise, the following designs will be available:
- Pixel 11: Light Sterling (gray), Midnight Haze (black), Fuschia or Fuchsia (pink), Moss (green)
- Pixel 11 Pro: Light Fog (white), Midnight Haze (black), Dune (pink), Pine (green)
- Pixel 11 XL: Light Fog (white), Midnight Haze (black), Dune (pink), Pine (green)
- Pixel 11 Pro Fold: Midnight Haze (black), Pine (green)
As mentioned before, iPhones are likely getting more expensive, and even Samsung’s budget-friendly Galaxy A27 launched last week with an inflated price compared to its predecessor. Apple’s supposed plans to upgrade to next-gen RAM in the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro may also translate to additional costs.
