Each month, Humble offers a new selection of curated games to subscribing members that they can choose to keep. For September, the Humble Choice Bundle includes Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, SpongeBob’s The Cosmic Shake, and other notable titles.

The September Choice bundle includes eight games and an Alpha playtest, which we think is a good number of items and variety. In case you aren’t aware, a Humble Bundle subscription is just $11.99 – meaning you grab all these games for exactly that price, then cancel afterward if you so wish. A great deal if you ask us, especially if you’re a Steam Deck user.

As you can see, most of the titles are verified on Steam Deck, and they can run smoothly. For the Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles and Infraspace, both are playable titles, so you may have to tweak a few settings to ensure they work properly on your Deck.

Furthermore, as the Rue Valley alpha playtest is exclusive to Epic Games, it may not be playable on Steam Deck easily. However, the game will indeed be coming to Steam; currently listed as ‘Coming soon’.

Is this bundle worth it?

If Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy was on your wishlist, then this Bundle might be appealing to you. You get to keep the game and expand your Marvel games collection.

Further, as you can see, there are a few casual games like SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake, Coral Island, and You Suck At Parking Complete Edition – which can be worthwhile additions to your collection. And you get access to an Alpha playtest – so you can try out a new game, whether that be on your Steam Deck or just on PC.

Either way, you have a Steam Deck, you’ll be able to play eight games from this bundle for sure. Overall, this choice bundle can add value to your games library if you want a Marvel game, along with some casual titles. Lastly, check out the Humble Detectives bundle and Resident Evil: Decades of Horror – Village Gold bundle if you’re looking for even more games at a discount price.
