Indiana Jones and the Great Circle launched a few weeks ago. While many players were excited about the game, it had one big problem: if your GPU had less than 8GB of VRAM, you couldn’t play it properly. The game’s Global Illumination feature, which makes lighting look more realistic, would turn off completely for these GPUs. This made the game look bad and almost unplayable.

Thankfully, the developers behind the hugely popular game have released a new update to address this issue and several more.

What does Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Update 2 offer?

This is the second update that has been released for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, which promises to improve the state of the game and make it playable for everyone. The biggest fix is for the issue where Global Illumination was disabled for GPUs that had less than 8GB of VRAM. Because of this, the game was unplayable for those who had weaker cards. But now, thanks to the update, you can start playing the game without any issues.

Aside from that, there were several issues that were causing problems for players. For instance, Nvidia DLSS, a feature used to improve the FPS, was causing performance issues instead of improving it. Apart from that, Frame Generation wasn’t being activated properly while HDR was being used, and the feature also made Low Latency Mode cause performance issues. However, all three issues have now been resolved through the latest update.

In addition to fixing these technical issues, the update also resolved several bugs linked with graphics and gameplay. For example, players were experiencing a strange problem where they couldn’t equip Indiana Jones’s whip, which is an essential part of the game. This bug has been fixed, along with other smaller issues that were ruining the gameplay experience of some players. For a full list of improvements and fixes, check out the official patch notes.

If you were one of the many players who couldn’t play Indiana Jones and the Great Circle due to hardware limitations or frustrating bugs, now is a great time to give it another try. With these fixes in place, the game should run much better, even on GPUs with less than 8GB of VRAM. But do make sure to update the game to the latest version before launching it.
