For weeks now, there has been speculation about Intel’s upcoming lineup of desktop CPUs – the Arrow Lake series. Following some rumors and leaks online, it is being suggested that Intel will make an official public announcement on October 10th, which is today. It is speculated that Intel will release the processors later in the month.
As we mentioned, we know a bit about the CPUs from online benchmarks and other leaks. However, Intel has been quiet about the prices so far. In September, we saw a Canadian retailer put up prices of the CPUs on their website, which was a good early indication. And now, to add to that, there has been another leak from OneRaichu, a well-known source of hardware leaks.
Raichu seemingly reveals Intel Arrow Lake desktop CPU prices
As per OneRaichu’s post on X, the prices of the Arrow Lake processors start from $294 and go all the way up to $589. Here’s what the prices look like:
CPU | Prices in Raichu’s post (USD) | Prices from Canadian leak (CAD) |
Core Ultra 9 285K | $589 | $852 |
Core Ultra 7 265K | $394 | $589 |
Core Ultra 7 265KF | $379 | $567 |
Core Ultra 5 245K | $309 | $450 |
Core Ultra 5 245KF | $294 | $427 |
If we compare the previously leaked prices to the USD prices leaked by Raichu, there seems to be quite a bit of difference. For instance, Core Ultra 9 285K costs $589 (USD), while the previous leak suggested it costs $620 ($852 CAD converted to USD).
It is not yet clear whether the prices suggested by Raichu include taxes or not. But if these prices are true, then we certainly get a better idea of the prices of Arrow Lake CPUs in the US. In any case, we will know the final prices when the processors are launched later in October 2024. So far, the prices have not been confirmed by Intel, so take these leaks with a grain of salt.
