The next generation of Intel’s CPU looks even closer than ever before. The Arrow Lake S release date was confirmed to come after the launch of the Lunar Lake mobile processors it announced on the 3rd of September. Following on from that, a UK retailer has already got its product pages for the Intel processors up and ready. You can find the range of likely initial Core Ultra 200 processors on Lamda-Teks website, currently not in stock but with the pricing included along with the core counts and boost clock.
Although not one of the big more well-known retailers, it clearly is one with plenty of electronics on sale and giving us an insight just that bit early into these processors. With a range from the Core Ultra 9s down to the Ultra 5s, there seems to be both the K and KF variants available at first. These feature from 24 cores up top down to the 14 at the bottom, most likely still being split between performance and efficiency cores. So let’s see what else we get from this listing.
Core Ultra 200 lineup and pricing
The retailer has listings for both individual processors but also for bulk trays, these come without the packaging and tend to be a bit cheaper due to it, but we’ll look at the full pricing instead. They are also listed in GBP but with both VAT and without so converting the non-VAT options to USD might give us something close to MSRP if they are accurate and close to what they should be.
Processor | Price (GBP non VAT/USD) | Cores | Clock |
---|---|---|---|
CPU Ultra 9 285K | £471.83/$619.70 | 24 | 5.7GHz |
CPU Ultra 7 265K | £327.35/$429.94 | 20 | 5.5GHz |
CPU Ultra 7 265KF | £314.60/$413.20 | 20 | 5.5GHz |
CPU Ultra 5 245K | £250.86/$329.48 | 14 | 5.2GHz |
CPU Ultra 5 245KF | £238.11/$312.73 | 14 | 5.2GHz |
The conversion was done via the Google embedded conversion rate as of the 8th of September. Additionally, they’re not exactly the nicer round numbers we’re used to seeing at retailers so these are unlikely the final MSRPs for the processors. At least we still can see that the no onboard graphic F variants are in fact that much cheaper to buy.
The listings seem to lack a Core Ultra 9 KF SKU, likely just for now or the retailer just missing that one processor. Either way, this gives us an insight that the CPUs might get just a bit of an MSRP insight. The previous generation of the 14th Gen was $589 for the 14900K, $409 for the 14700K, $384 for the 14700KF, $319 for the 14600K, and $294 for the 14600KF. In which case these processors look to be potentially slightly more expensive if they are accurate.
We’re still also not sure when these will be released, we would have expected them to be announced at the Intel Innovation event later this year. However, that was canceled as the company found ways to reduce its costs, but it might still have a low-key announcement during that end of September time period. So you might not have to wait too long now.
