Yay, after all the hoo-hah of the arrival of iOS 15 we now have the first bug fixes with us with Apple’s release of iOS 15.0.1 a week after the initial launch.

Prominent bigs such as the one plaguing Apple Watch owners are now a thing of the past and Apple tells us that this and other issues are now resolved, leaving the way clear for the release of iOS 15.1 in a few weeks time.

Apple told us that iOS 15.0.1 contains the following.

iOS 15.0.1 includes bug fixes for your iPhone including an issue where some users could not unlock iPhone 13 models with Apple Watch.

This update includes bug fixes for your iPhone.

  • Unlock iPhone with Apple Watch may not work on iPhone 13 models
  • Settings app may incorrectly display an alert that storage is full
  • Audio meditations could unexpectedly start a workout on Apple Watch for some Fitness+ subscribers

Waiting for SharePlay?

If you are looking for missing features such as SharePlay you are still going to have to wait for the release of iOS 15.1, although if you are in the Beta programme there is a beta version of the next major roadmapped patch awaiting your download as we speak.
