Massive indie game bundle supports devs and comes with more than 100 games worth over $1,000 for just $10

The gaming industry has gone through another difficult year, with thousands of developers losing their jobs due to studio closures and layoffs. In response, a group of indie developers has come together to create the Game Industry Hardship Fund bundle, giving players the chance to pick up more than 100 games for a very low price while supporting developers who have been affected by recent layoffs.
The bundle was organized by Necrosoft Games, with director Brandon Sheffield announcing that it was created to benefit the Game Industry Hardship Fund, which is managed by United Videogame Workers. According to the organizers, every purchase helps provide financial support to developers in the United States and Canada who are out of work or underemployed. The money can be used to cover important expenses such as rent, food, healthcare, and other daily living costs.

In return, buyers get access to more than 100 indie games, along with additional content such as physical games, game assets, soundtracks, and more. Altogether, the collection is worth over $1,000 (listed as ~$1,018), making it an excellent deal even for players who simply want to expand their game library.

At the time of writing, the bundle has raised $160,640 through 11,436 contributions. The average contribution currently sits at $14.04, while the highest single donation has reached $5,000.
The fundraiser has already surpassed its original $100,000 goal, which it achieved within just a few days of launching. Because of the strong support from the community, the organizers have now increased the target to $200,000. Considering how quickly donations have continued to grow, there’s a chance the new goal will be reached within the next few days.
