If you’re looking for even more immersion in your flight simulator, Next Level Racing has released some new hardware to achieve just that. Working in collaboration with Microsoft, it has created a Microsoft Flight Simulator version of its Flight Simulator Cockpit.
Built to be true to real cockpits, the flight simulator chair is compatible with a whole range of hardware that is customizable to your needs and setup. It comes with the bare bones, featuring the chair and all the stands, with the option to add in extras of more stands and displays.
The frame and chair are designed to be immersive and flexible in their setup and compatibility with various hardware. Supporting a range of yokes, joysticks, pedals, keyboards, and more, it brings it all together much like any proper racing simulator does. However, it’s not the lightest or cheapest hardware to purchase.
Price and features
The MSFS Edition of the flight simulator is not inexpensive at all. It has a £799/$899 base unit price, let alone the cost of adding any upgrades. However, it does feature some improvements compared to the previous editions, as it adds £100 to the non-branded flight simulator version.
This one features adjustable lumbar support, which should make those long flying sessions a lot more comfortable. Additionally, it includes padding and a premium leather finish, further enhancing comfort. It also expands on the adjustability and configuration, as you can adjust the seat distance, height, and peripheral placement.
