No Man’s Sky has been gaining popularity since the arrival of its World’s Part 1 update last week, with the game continuing to climb the Steam Deck top 100 chart – now in the top 5 played this week.
Last week we reported on how No Man’s Sky had jumped itself into the top 20 most played Steam Deck games after the latest 5.0 update landed – with many players confirming the game plays incredibly well on the Steam Deck. Since that article went live, the game has continued to see growth in the Steam Deck community, with the game jumping a further 15 or so places into the top 5.
Steam Community loving No Man’s Sky
As you can see from the image above, the open-world space survival game is now ranked 5th in the Steam Deck top 100 chart for this week, jumping a whopping 62 places, respectively. That, yet again, makes it the biggest mover this week – by some ways.
After the game’s initial rise in Steam Deck popularity, we asked the community their opinion on how the game plays and whether it’s worth getting. That Reddit post saw huge engagement, with hundreds of posts stating how amazing the game was and how it’s well worth the investment.
Like the PC issues we saw after the game’s World’s Part 1 update, however, some Steam Deck users did experience some framerate drops, with one Redditor saying “The water kills my frames”. That said, the majority of people said the game looks great and plays pretty well too.
Right now, Elden Ring sits at the top of the Steam Deck top 100 chart this week – and for good reason, that game is tough. It’ll be interesting to see whether No Man’s Sky continues to climb – or is top 5 the highest it’ll get?
