Pixel 11 benchmarks compared to Pixel 10, Samsung Galaxy S26, and iPhone 17 ahead of Google’s launch
Table of Contents
Google’s new Pixel 11 phones will be widely available on August 20, but that hasn’t stopped early benchmarks from surfacing online, typically sourced from tech reviewers with early access. Fans have been able to pre-order the Pixel 11 series since August 12, with offers and promotions still live for a limited time. But first, it’s worth seeking out performance tests.
Yesterday we covered benchmarks for the flagship Pixel 11 Pro XL, which offered a 14% and 20% uplift in single-core and multi-core tests, respectively, versus last year’s Pixel 10 Pro XL. We expect to see similar performance gains for the non-XL Pro version, too, as both models feature the same key specs under the hood. Now, let’s move on to the base Pixel 11 phone.
Google Pixel 11 benchmarks versus the competition
According to early Pixel 11 vs Pixel 10 benchmarks on Geekbench 7 (it’s important to note this, as Geekbench 6 will provide different results), the new base model is around 16% faster in single-core and 14.6% faster in multi-core tests compared to last-gen. With the Pixel 11, Google has fitted the entire series with its new Tensor G6 chip, a direct upgrade to last year’s G5.

We’ve also sourced Geekbench 7 results for the Samsung Galaxy S26 and iPhone 17 for comparison, with both of them outperforming the base Pixel 11. The S26 benchmark is for the Exynos 2600 variant (Samsung’s 2nm chipset), which is used in many markets, while North American, Chinese, and Japanese models are fitted with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
| Benchmark | Google Pixel 11 | Google Pixel 10 | Samsung Galaxy S26 | iPhone 17 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Single-core | 2,332 | 2,011 | 2,834 | 3,021 |
| Multi-core | 6,752 | 5,890 | 11,081 | 8,342 |
There are also Geekbench 7 results online for the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, with the flagship model scoring 3,030 and 10,495 in single-core and multi-core, respectively; both of which outperform the Pixel 11 Pro XL.
The standard Google Pixel 11 is available from $899, which raises the floor from last year’s series by $100 due to the removal of the 128GB variant – it is now only available in 256GB and 512GB. At the same time, the Pro models include a 1TB option, too. The extra cost may be off-putting for those seeking the cheapest option, despite the performance gains.
