State of Play is all about showcasing upcoming PlayStation games, interviews with developers, and gameplay previews. Sony recently confirmed that a special broadcast will be hosted today, on November 11. While Sony hasn’t exactly discussed what will be revealed during the State of Play Japan event, it will highlight upcoming games developed in Japan and across Asia.

We’re counting down the hours, minutes, and seconds remaining until it starts. Do keep in mind that the start time will vary depending on your current timezone. In some regions (including Japan), the start time falls on November 12.

When does State of Play Japan start today?

In an official blog post on the PlayStation Blog, Sony confirmed that the State of Play Japan event will kick off on November 11 at 2 PM PT. Of course, due to time zone differences, the start time will be different for everyone. To help you out, we’ve converted the start times for a range of different regions below.

  • Los Angeles – 2 PM PST
  • New York – 5 PM EST
  • London – 10 PM GMT
  • Berlin – 11 PM CEST
  • Delhi – 3:30 AM IST (November 12)
  • Tokyo – 7 AM JST (November 12)
  • Sydney – 9 AM AEDT (November 12)
  • Auckland – 11 AM NZDT (November 12)

We’ve also added a countdown clock above to help you track the exact amount of time remaining until the show starts. If you can’t see the clock, that means the event has already begun.

Sony has confirmed that the State of Play Japan event will run for over 40 minutes. It will focus on new trailers, developer interviews, and gameplay videos of both announced and unseen projects. The event will be hosted by Yuki Kaji, a popular Japanese voice actor, and you’ll get to see titles from both major franchises and independent studios.

For those interested, the event will air on PlayStation’s official YouTube channels. On the PlayStation Japan channel, you’ll find a full Japanese-language version of the broadcast, while the PlayStation YouTube channel will feature Japanese audio with English subtitles.
