Raspberry Pi started as a small, affordable computer designed to help people learn programming and electronics. Over the years, it has grown far beyond education and hobby projects. Today, Raspberry Pi computers and microcontrollers are used in industrial systems, commercial products, research tools, and consumer devices around the world.

That growth is clear to see. Raspberry Pi has confirmed that hundreds of products are currently powered by Raspberry Pi hardware with the company’s stamp of approval. These products range from simple accessories and HATs to full commercial systems built around Raspberry Pi Compute Modules. Many of them carry the “Powered by Raspberry Pi” certification, which means they have been tested and verified to work reliably with Raspberry Pi hardware and software.

According to Raspberry Pi, this ecosystem includes consumer devices, industrial tools, and specialized hardware. Some products focus on safety, navigation, automation, and training, while others are aimed at gaming, photography, and creative projects. The company recently highlighted several examples from around the world to show how widely Raspberry Pi technology is being used.

One example is BlueSCSI, a modern solution for classic computers. It replaces old SCSI drives with SD cards, allowing vintage systems like classic Macs, Amigas, and Ataris to run old software using modern storage.

Raspberry Pi is also being used in training and safety systems. Clickdrive, for example, is a driving training platform used by driving schools and public transport companies. It records real-world driving data using cameras, GPS, and sensors to help drivers improve performance and safety through detailed feedback.

In aviation and marine use, Raspberry Pi powers systems like the Landmark Precision Landing System for drones and HALPI2, a rugged marine navigation computer built around Raspberry Pi Compute Modules. Finally, Raspberry Pi is also at the center of advanced imaging hardware. The EDATEC CM5 AI Camera Series uses Compute Module 5 to deliver high-speed image capture and AI processing in a compact design.
