Only a day has passed since the launch of the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 – both of which sold out instantly. There’s still a little way to before we’ll get to see laptop systems using these new 50 series GPUs, but we’re starting to see listings appear online on popular retailers such as Best Buy. Earlier we spotted a number of RTX 5070 and RTX 5070 Ti gaming PCs on the site, and now we’ve come across a few different laptops to feast your eyes on.

There are three models viewable on the storefront right now, and you could argue that a couple of them seem a little more geared toward productivity rather than solely gaming. Either way, there are two 5070 laptops, and a 5070 Ti laptop, ranging from $1,899.99 to $2,199.99.

It’s worth noting that laptop GPUs aren’t as powerful as their desktop counterparts. For example, the RTX 5070 laptop GPU is cut down to just 8GB VRAM, 4GB less than the desktop version. Likewise, it has a lower amount of CUDA cores – so don’t expect one-to-one performance versus desktop benchmarks.

Best Buy has also recently listed a bunch of 5080 and 5090 laptops – so we shouldn’t be a million miles away from a launch. Nvidia says that 50 series laptops will go on sale in March “as thin as 14.9mm” and boasting “up to 40% better battery life” thanks to Blackwell Max-Q innovations. It also claims “double the performance of previous-generation models” but we know at this point that this relies quite heavily on technology such as DLSS 4 and Multi Frame Generation. In other words, pure rasterization power will certainly not be double.
