Splatoon Raiders Direct start time & countdown clock

Nintendo first announced Splatoon Raiders last year, surprising fans with a brand-new spin-off instead of another mainline Splatoon game. Since then, we’ve only seen small glimpses of the upcoming adventure, leaving plenty of questions unanswered.
However, if you’ve been waiting to get another look at the game before deciding whether it’s worth picking up, the wait is almost over, as the dedicated Splatoon Raiders Direct is happening today. We expect Nintendo to show off the game in much more detail.
When will Splatoon Raiders Direct start today?
The presentation will begin today, on June 30, at 7 AM PT and will run for approximately 15 minutes. Immediately afterward, Nintendo will host a 30-minute Nintendo Treehouse: Live broadcast featuring extended gameplay footage. As always, the start time will be different for everyone, depending on where you live.

What is Splatoon Raiders about?
Unlike the multiplayer-focused Splatoon games, Splatoon Raiders is a single-player survival adventure set in the mysterious Spirhalite Islands. Players take on the role of a mechanic working alongside the Deep Cut trio. Frye, Shiver, and Big Man, as they search for treasure and battle Salmonids.
The game appears to place a big focus on exploration and gadget creation. Players will be able to build different tools, craft paint-based weapons, and use various mechanical devices during their adventures. Nintendo has also confirmed that the game supports online co-op for up to four players, so it won’t be a completely solo experience – just not versus like the previous titles.
As for today’s Direct, Nintendo hasn’t revealed exactly what will be shown, but we can expect a deeper look at the game’s progression systems, crafting mechanics, and how the co-op mode works. Since the Treehouse presentation follows immediately after the Direct, players should also get a much better idea of how exploration and combat actually feel during extended gameplay sessions.
Splatoon Raiders is scheduled to launch on July 23, 2026, for the Nintendo Switch 2. Nintendo is also sticking with its new pricing structure for this release. The digital version of the game will cost $49.99, while the physical edition will be priced at $59.99. Alongside the game, Nintendo will release three new Splatoon Raiders-themed amiibo figures featuring Frye, Shiver, and Big Man. A new pair of blue and light yellow Joy-Con 2 controllers inspired by the game’s colorful aesthetic will also be available.
