Sifu is free on Epic Games Store right now
Right now, Sifu is available for free on the Epic Games Store. Previously, the game was priced at $18.99, but thanks to the offer, you can grab it for free. The best part is that if you’re interested in getting more content, you can purchase the Deluxe Edition upgrade bundle, which is currently priced at only $2.49 due to a 50% discount.
Sifu is a beat ’em up game where you control the child of a martial arts school’s master, seeking revenge on those responsible for their father’s death. What makes the game interesting is that each time your character dies, they are resurrected through a magical talisman, but they also age during the process. This grants them more powerful attacks but also reduces their health.
If a player dies too many times, their character ages further. Once they get too old, the character dies permanently, and players must restart the level from the beginning. This means that, no matter what, you need to avoid dying, as it can cause you to lose progress in the long run.
The best part is that Sifu is a Verified game on the Steam Deck, meaning it runs smoothly without any performance issues. You don't have to worry about tweaking or adjusting settings to optimize performance, something you need to do with Playable games. That said, keep in mind that the offer will end in a few hours, so be sure to hurry and add Sifu to your library before it returns to its original price. Also, to play Sifu on the Steam Deck via the Epic Games Launcher, you’ll need to use a third-party launcher like Heroic.
