If you've been on Steam for a while and consider yourself a serious PC gamer, you're in for a surprise. There's a hidden Steam page that shows exactly how much money you've spent on the platform. For some, it might be a few hundred dollars, maybe a couple thousand. But for others, like one Reddit user, the total can hit a jaw-dropping $19K, and they're definitely not proud of it.

Steam account evaluators have been around forever, with third-party services like SteamDB going through your library and giving you a rough estimate of your total spending. The catch is that they often overestimate since they don't account for discounts, sales, or bundles like those from Humble Bundle. So the final number usually ends up looking a lot higher than what you actually paid.

Ready to be surprised?

Unlike third-party services, Steam has been logging every single dollar that has gone through your account. While it doesn't consider external bundles or in-game purchases, it still gives you a far more accurate idea of your spending. One user shared the link to check how much you've spent on Reddit. You simply have to click on it, log into Steam, and look for the “TotalSpend” field – that’s where you’ll see how much you’ve spent over the years. There's even another link that shows how many points you've earned from purchases, but we doubt it will be as shocking to see as your total spending.
