What does The Witcher series offer?

The Witcher games, developed by CD Projekt Red, are some of the most celebrated RPGs of all time. They follow the story of Geralt, a monster hunter (or Witcher), as he battles deadly creatures, handles political conspiracies, and makes choices that shape the world around him.

  • The Witcher (Enhanced Edition): The game that started it all. Released in 2007, it introduces players to Geralt’s deadly world and features a unique combat system, deep storylines, and powerful enemies. The Enhanced Version was released in September 2008, and it offers over 200 new animations, new NPCs, improved stability, redesigned inventory system, and reduced load times. Overall, the main story can be completed in around 36 hours, while 100% completion can take around 64 hours.
  • The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings (Enhanced Edition): The sequel continues the story of Geralt and offers improved visuals, challenging gameplay, and a better overall world compared to the first game. On top of that, the choices you make throughout the game will have an impact on the story, which makes The Witcher 2 better in terms of replay value. While its main story can be completed in around 24 hours, 100% completion can take up to 56 hours.
  • The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt: Finally, we have The Witcher 3. This is the top game in the trilogy and one of the best RPGs ever made. With its vast open world, rich quests, and memorable characters, The Witcher 3 delivers an unforgettable experience. It’s better than the first two games in every way, and it also offers the most amount of content. Its main story can take up to 52 hours to complete. And for 100% completion, be prepared to spend over 170 hours. Also, if your PC is good enough, then we fully recommend the Witcher 3 mod that recently reached its final version.

Do keep in mind that the Steam Autumn Sale will conclude on December 4. After that, the prices will return to their original values. In case you want to try more games, you can check out the Stalker trilogy bundle, which is available for only $10.
