Nvidia recently announced the RTX 50-series cards during CES 2025, including the RTX 5080. This will be a high-end option in the lineup, designed for those who want to enjoy the true 4K gaming experience. Nvidia has confirmed that it will launch on January 30 with a price tag of $999. However, this price is for the base model, as third-party models will launch with a higher price tag.
Now, Proshop, a European retailer, has listed several third-party RTX 5080 models. When the card was first announced, Proshop only showed a “notify me” button without any prices. Now, the store has updated its listings with the actual prices.

In any case, the RTX 5090 will also launch alongside the RTX 5080, but there are currently no listings for its third-party models. The base model will cost $1,999, as per Nvidia, so we can expect third-party units to carry a price tag of anywhere between $2,250 and $2,600.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the RTX 5080 will offer 16 GB of GDDR7 VRAM with a 256-bit memory interface. On top of that, it will have a base clock of 2.30 GHz and a boost clock of 2.62 GHz. Nvidia also announced DLSS 4 during CES 2025, and its Multi Frame Generation feature will help take the RTX 5080 to another level. With the launch date just a few weeks away, more retailers are expected to reveal their prices soon.
