When does the Steam Summer Sale end? Here’s how long you have left to grab some last-minute deals
Table of Contents
Steam’s Summer Sale is one of the biggest sales events for PC gamers to look forward to every year. This year, it went live on June 26th, offering discounts on hundreds of games. It has given everyone a chance to expand their libraries at a fraction of the price, even if (in the likely scenario) they don’t get around to playing most of their new games. Regardless, the event is ending soon, so there’s not much time left to grab some last-minute deals or promotions.
Steam Summer Sale 2025 is almost over
The Steam Summer Sale will end on July 10th at 10 AM PDT. That means there’s only about a day and six hours left (from the time of writing) before the sale is over. After that, most games will go back to their regular prices. Some discounts may stay active, so we’ll have to wait and see what exactly gets an extended deal. Here’s when the sale will end in various regions:
- US Pacific (PDT): 10 AM
- US Eastern (EDT): 1 PM
- UK (BST): 6 PM
- Central Europe (CEST):Â 7 PM
- India (IST):Â 10:30 PM
- Sydney, Australia (AEST):Â 3 AM, July 11
- Auckland, New Zealand (NZST):Â 5 AM, July 11
If you haven’t bought anything yet, now would be the best time to do so. The next big Steam sale won’t happen for a few more months, so we don’t expect these deals to return anytime soon. If you check the store, you’ll find many great games for under $10 and even under $5. These are especially good for Steam Deck owners. And if you’re really on a tight budget, there are also games priced under $4 and even under $3, so be sure to check them out as well.
As for new releases, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is currently 20% off, bringing the price down to $39.99. Assassin’s Creed Shadows also has a 25% discount, lowering the price from $69.99 to $52.49. Even 9 Kings, a fast-paced roguelike kingdom builder, is 35% off.
Some may have expected Dune: Awakening to be part of the Summer Sale too, but it’s still listed at full price on Steam. However, you can grab a Steam key for the game on Fanatical for 15% off, which is a great alternative if you want to save some cash.
